Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

Aetna Medicare Advantage

All the customer service reps at my location are working from home now. Do you all think we will stay standing through the corona virus or do you all think there may be layoffs coming soon?

I was an account administrator at this location.
I posted this which I took from the indeed review.
I don't know who this person is.
I do agree with what was said below.

The aetna in woodland hills, california is a collection of employees who have been there for a long time. Meaning all processes are outdated, which means no innovation, and work is doubled. No one is open to new ideas or processes. Senior employees feel that their time with the company allows for them to be unprofessional with no consequence. Management is afraid to speak up and correct those behaviors. this makes anyone new feel uncomfortable. The work could be less if their processes were improved. But, the environment is absolutely toxic and the pay is awful. I would not recommend working there.

There is an area in the los angeles county area that has a large facility which
has aetna and anthem employees working in the exact same location.
Is this the place you are located in.
If I may ask, can you give somewhat of a vague answer as to where this location is at?
Do you know if there are any layoffs recently from the dental provider data services analyst department also?
I would appreciate any answer. If you know of anything.
Unfortunately, I have not heard anything new that I could help you with.
Thank you very much.

If you do not mind me asking. What happened to all the temporary employees that were in your department? What happened to them in the other departments if you know? From what I understand, they were not allowed to work from a remote position.
Any information would be grateful.
Thank you.

Which location is this at. Is it one of the southern california branches.
The people that are still employed will need to be dependable. Do not
take any vacations unless you need to and for personal reasons.
If you are sick and working at home just keep working. If you were still allowed
to come in of course they would be more flexible and hearing of your concerns
to take off for whatever important reason. I do not think they will be flexible with remote work.
With this sort of position and tons of people not in the workforce, you will
be easily replaceable. There are also tons of graduates from high school and university
level that will want those jobs, who haven't been in the workforce yet.
From my own past experience, if they view you as slacking off, they could easily just let you
go and find someone else. Especially in regard to remote work.
Unfortunately, you will need to show you are extra reliable and less prone to making errors in what you do.
