SLB and all other service companies will be affected. Good time to purge bad managers and bad employees and start over fresh when things get better. Of course none this will be fair. If you don't have a good relationship with your superior, look out.

Being on good terms with your manager won't save you during this downturn. Your best best is to keep your fingers crossed and keep a tight hold on your lucky charm.
