We just got an email stating an employee has symptoms that align with COVID-19. they told people in that employee's area. but what if this person was in the cafe or a breakroom or bathroom? they don't care.

Same thing happened at deer valley location. Someone had the covid-19 and they told us 3.5 weeks later that things were taken care of. (Keep in mind, e-mailed employees just a few days after the quarter ended) They used the bathrooms, cafeteria, hallways ect.... and didnt clean those areas. They say they did then of course if we saw it we would of been questioning the rumors going around that they told us to stop talking about or get in trouble for talking about it. Wtf? Oh by the way during these lies it was end of the quarter. To Make that quota did not want anybody running out the door so they could not make that mighty dollar. I think this the part where jesus turns over the table. Till this day no masks and no gloves have been given.

Side question: anyone currently have any family members or friends that are suffering COVID-19? And if so, where are you located?

Yes, honeywell aero in Phx. has had 2 employees with the covid 19 symptoms. There was an e-mail sent out. They are trying to mitigate the situation by only having the east turnstile open. They take your temp upon entrance. They do not give a fat rats @ss about the employees. It is all done to keep from getting their @ss sued. It is all about the bottom line PERIOD.

How true. They do the minimum to protect employees and sometimes not even that. While other companies are giving raises during this time for loyal employees, hazard pay, the well says work at your own risk, no raise, furlough, etc. - what are you going to do about it? I feel lucky to have a job, but I have to be honest in saying this company is disgusting me lately.

There was one at South Bend, too. They told the two people working closest with that person and had them self quarantine but only said they cleaned the areas that person was thought to be. This was over a week after this person left due to symptoms and the day after their test results came back positive. They won't say who and won't say what area they worked in. I know for a fact this person was all around the site (by deduction on who was there and who wasn't, it was easy to figure out who it is) anyway, they could have touched almost anything or everything any where on the site and Hon doesn't care. They just care about the bottom line. Who cares if employees get sick or if they die? They will replace anyone in a heart beat. They've proven over and over they don't give a rip about their employees. They say we're their greatest asset but HON has got to know their actions speak much louder than words and most of us see right through it. Just keep coming in to work. If you get the virus, then you can stay home and suffer.
