Schlumberger is the BIGGEST Disappointment in a company in my entire life!! They keep people that watch movies instead of doing their jobs, people that are never ever I their office do to smoke breaks and restroom breaks - they smoke, go to their office get another smoke and repeat the cycle! They hire folks an the do not rehire list because of who the are related to. They pay of moves and buy their existing houses because they don’t know what they are doing. They put people in jobs that have absolety no idea what they are doing. They lay off the workers - haha the joke is now on you! I hope the POS you have left pull your asses out of the mud you have dug your self in - but I would think. Doubtfu. I thought in the hand book it states t-b-cco free environment, well skoal Is t-b-cco - pull your head of of you a–!! Schlumberger is violation

How about a ex-employee that was laid off due to not wanting to be part of a clique or rumor mill? An employee who was professional and polite with his coworkers on a daily basis, not a back-stabber, a gossip girl or a hater. An employee that had to deal with a highly toxic workplace environment.
One who always minded his own business and just did his job; turning out to be systematically shunned by managers who got rubbed the wrong way and brown-nosed employees who were probably told to ignore said employee. Is that such a bad employee for this company? A person who always did his job, but was disliked by coworkers for NO APPARENT REASON?! If it's such a great company to work for, why did he have to go through and put up with such negative and hostile behavior? I've always been used to working with grown-a– men, as well as women...not little girls and boys, sorry.
This post is funny because it is supposed to be about why this particular company is so awful. And yet you can find the same sort of rant almost verbatim on every company discussed on this fine forum.
FIrst job, bud?
@lwc+14mpFl9N hey Bob Sullivent, I can’t believe you were employed for so many years. Your spelling skills s—! It’s theirs not there. I hope you weren’t a manager!
@2lwp+14mpFl9N Scumbooger is a good company??? Hahaha !!! Man this proves that you’ve never worked for a good company, you’re one of the indoctrinated Scumbots who just repeats what you’ve been told to say. You guys are like robots with programmed responses. 😂
I certainly hope English is not your native language. Because if it is, then you are barely literate and should not have been hired in the first place.
Well don’t get worried about the lays offs
I just heard that and people just talk to talk

At Midland Facilities in Frac department
They going to lay-off 80 employees including dispatchers and crew that deliver parts and water to location where all going to get the boot. I feel bad for those guys who work in the department
They like to keep people that have an education and can spell.
Sounds like sour grapes. I worked for a division of SLB called WesternGeco. I had a 40 plus year career and am happily retired with my wife. No company is perfect but most of the managers at work are good and care about there employees. I know of no one that took smoke breaks that did not pull there weight. I took walk breaks to keep body in shape and did my duties with no complaints or regrets. Thank you WesternGeco for 40 plus great years.

Oh no...they're...SMOKING?!??! Good grief. Grow up.
