SLB monitoring

I always wonder if SLB has anyone that monitors this Web page to get employee sentiment.

Dear HR buddy: don’t get dishearten. Few bad apples bring hella lot bad names to the game. Focus on those bad apples to get rid of first. U can’t have better time than this to throw them out and save this great company.

I'm said to hear this. I'm HR and if you don't think this affects me, too, you're dead wrong. This is the stuff that keeps me up at night and I follow up personally with EVERY employee I have had to release in the last month. Right now, I'm working 7 days a week 10 to 12 hours a day to support current AND past employees. It's too bad that your experience with HR hasn't been good because I love my population and this is k–ling me too.

When sh– hits the ceiling, HR can’t be spared. Let the 30% spread start with them. They are useless overheads bring zero value to the comoany. Replace all of them with all college graduates. Unfortunately their role is much beyond kissing management a– and sleeping with reports to do coverups.

HR's job is to protect the corporation from its employees.

I had no idea this site existed until a HR Manager told me about it. So yeah, they know and read it. Just don't expect them to care. That's not what they get paid for.

Wow, god bless you. Spot on!

"A person should never put their job above their family! Sure, sometimes you have to but most times you do have a choice. After all your job can end tomorrow but you'll always have your family.

I watched "young guns" come in to SLB willing to work long hours and kiss the right asses. Many times after a few years they were divorced or their kids had issues. I've realized that the ones that do rise to the top don't have the things I want in life like honesty, family life, empathy, and humbleness."

Yes they read this page and no they don’t care what the employees are saying.

Sad that the people that have dedicated themselves for years to the company get cut for their dedication and have earned a better wage for the dedication. Gave up watching their kids grow up, and made to put their family second if you wanted the position. Then watch the company acquire failing companies bring in their failing management and people at higher wages and put them above the SLB employees that have busted their butt for years. Especially when the management they bring in has such favoritism for the people they bring. This shows the Code Of Conduct SLB pushes is also a joke it only applies to certain instances depending who you know. And HR overlooks these issues and send them to the manager that is involved which just make them feel more invisible being they just make it disappear. Years ago SLB was a great company. Sad to see it and its reputation get to this point. Good thing the founders are long gone you know this was not their vision.
