@1row there are other masks they could provide besides a N95 that would take away the supply from health professionals. Right now they are providing jack squat.

Actually the surgical and N95 masks are for healthcare professionals. If anyone would pay attention to what is going on outside it UP, people would realize the world does not revolve around them. There are healthcare providers dying because of mo–ns who think they should be wearing the medical grade PPE. That being said, there has to be some sort of mask available that can be provided. If not, there are video how to’s, if you are concerned about not having any masks, on how to make masks from everyday items at home. If railroads weren’t essential, we would all be furloughed, count your lucky stars we are essential and still have money coming in.

I have one. If you had listened to the medical guidance you’d know the masks the general public wears protects the individual that is wearing it from potentially spreading the virus but not from getting it. Therefore everyone needs to wear one. Seems like all the major companies with essential workers are doing it besides UP.
