Thread regarding Ford layoffs

What happened in today's huddle? Any specific topics covered?

Any words on the following:

  1. Layoffs?
  2. Pay cuts?
  3. Office start date?

Well Trump cutting all our Pandemic funding and playing a month of golf while calling the virus a hoax probably didn't do us much favors either...

Are you the same guy who wondered what the AICP bonus was a week ago? Is your computer broke? Were you "super busy" yesterday? Why not just watch it? There's a link right on the home page.

The individual below must be an LL6 plus. None of you have to worry about money, so real easy for you to say that the rest of us should “stay positive”

Love all these executives who spew the same rhetoric. Until they have to worry about their livelihood, they will never get it.

@skm Is that you JH? Or maybe BF? Didn't know you slummed here with the rest of us very concerned employees. Of course you have nothing to worry about.

Please remain positive.. Use this time (off) to retrain/retool and spend more time with your loved ones. Also time to reexamine your priorities.. whether it's finding a new path for your future or be it finding a new passion or moving to another industry altogether or finding God... this is the time to introspect. use it wisely.. Use whatever control/resources that we still have left with us, most prudently... i know that lot of us are at the peak of our careers and can't think anything outside of Ford.. but this is a wake call for all of us. I am sure some of us are better prepared than others... let's use this opportunity to become a defining moment in our lives - and take it in a more positive direction for ourselves and our loved ones..let no ONE man/company decide the fate of our futures.. we all have gifts deep down in us and let us dig deep and fulfill those promises/potential.. let not spread negativity .. let us promise ourselves not to buckle under this bane.. we will emerge victorious..

Mr. Hackett is going to save us all. Speaking metaphorically, he is the Noah, Ford is the ark, we are the animals, and the economy is the flood. I'm giddy!

@dow So basically, doublespeak, excuses, finger pointing and more cluelessness from leadership.

The Dragon lady with the Aussie accent gave no specifics other than 4 weeks on, 1 week unpaid. Said something about business group specific actions. More circle talk.
