we've been temporarily shutdown last week due to corona virus. anybody know how this thing gonna play out for us?

They have a few employees working in the warehouse. It's not safe. They should still be closed until the end of the month.
The thing is for the union members it’s the seniority issue. so it depends how many union people they need to do the job and for the non union it’s easier for them to let go of those people
If I were you i'd set my expectations as follows. If I don't have much time into the company, and I'm not paid very well, you have a chance to become one of the first to be called back. Don't worry about past performance. If you've been with the company, and you're willing to accept lateral moves that require you to relocate, you have a chance of being called back. If you've worked for the company for a long time, and you only want to work in your institution chances aren't good for you.
The lower paid, less experienced will have a chance to be treated poorly once again.
Seriously? Are you really this clueless? The rest of follett has been laid off for a week.
