None of those CEOs give a c-ap about any of the people who work for them. Don't kid yourself. I worked for both companies and you could win Toy of the Year, design products that earn the company millions of dollars, mentor and nurture junior designers one month then the next month, they lay you off with the absolute minim of severance. They are both disgusting inhuman beings who deserve to fall from the heights they've managed to climb to on the backs of their subordinates. No mercy.
Ynon the hero Mattel deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
Rather than give up their salaries the CEO and CFO gave themselves bonuses. Now they are planning massive layoffs. So appalling.

I wish Ynon would leave but unfortunately we won’t get that lucky. He planned to trick everyone into believing he had turned the company around and then sell it before anyone knew he was full of c-ap. Unfortunately for him the Corona virus has dried up the market and nobody will be buying Mattel. Now Ynon gets to stick around and be held accountable for all of his failures until the company goes under.
Under his leadership, Mattel investors have collectively lost countless millions. 😣

How dare you, OP! Ynon is rushing Covid Barbie into production. She wears a fabulous glitter mask & gloves, and her pink Barbie van is crammed full of toilet paper, hand sanitizer and frozen lobster and filet mignon. Fully one quarter of one percent goes to help Covid victims. Barbie is doing her part, as is Ynon!
MGA - "We're altering the production line of our Little Tikes factory to help make much needed ventilators as quickly as possible."
Mattel (5 days later) - "We're using sc-ap fabric from Barbie to create FABULOUS masks! (Don't forget to fill out the paperwork for an obsolescence credit)"
I could absolutely see Hasbro's Brian Goldner doing this, he's a great guy. Ynon? Fat chance. Isaac might go 50% only after Goldner did it. Such a wonderful shaming opportunity.
