Per "The Digital Reader", as of 3/27, Barnes and Noble has closed 400 stores due to the health concerns with Coronavirus. Some are still doing curbside service, but closed to the public. The store I worked at is still open, but the staff has been cut in half, so only managers, the children's lead, the Cafe Manager and a few part-timers who worked there for more than six months are getting hours. Just like Daunt's letter warned, if you're less than 6 months in you're out of luck. It's effecting more people than that though, I know a lot of employees at the store who aren't getting hours or pay, just a furlough situation. I can't imagine that Barnes and Noble can come back from this.

Can someone create a Google doc of all the stores that have closed?
If Barnes and Noble does "come back" from this situation, it will be even more crippled than it already is as a business. And I imagine the pressure that will be put on booksellers will be wicked.
