Has anyone applied yet? It kicked me out because we got paid for last week. Do we have to wait until next Monday? $275 + $600 (trump bill) I will make more money than when I worked?? Is that right?

New person here. The political "garbage" was first brought up in the OP. The first comment DID answer the question and corrected the FACTS. Everything they said is true regardless of political bent. You can find everyone involved (or not involved) speaking about it on YouTube. Did the comment contain political bias? probably. Did your response? probably.
I would point out that a lot of the horrible decisions this company has/is making are because the laws in FL allow them. We can rightfully rail against SR but if you don't want him to get away with stuff like this then change the laws.
I would (and have) file now. Millions have already applied and I imagine it will only get more backed up.

To the person who replied to me (the first commenter on this) if you look at my response, I did answer his question. A lot of people will make more on unemployment due to the CARE act, and yes, republicans did some out against this.

Yea I tried last week and was kicked out as well for being over the 275. I am going to call tomorrow myself even though we get paid for this week, its still a massive reduction in my normal pay...
Lol trump has nothing to do with that bill, if it were up to republicans they would have given all the benefits to businesses.
But yes, that’s correct. Many Republicans were opposing it because “we can’t have people making more money in unemployment”, which I guess makes sense.
