Interesting. Folks are upset that UP donated masks to healthcare professionals who are actually taking care of COVID-19 positive patients. The nerve. Think about it this way...if those providers in the hospitals get sick then there is no one to take care of the patients who are sick, on ventilators, or flooding the ERs. If you were a patient would you want your provider to be wearing a mask or walking around without one? Think about your comment before chastising the company working through this fluid situation the best they can with the resources available. No matter what UP does, most employees will only see the negative. Instead of helping find a solution, let’s bash the folks trying to help. Think about the situation in its entirety.

How much more protection you crews want? Cabs are constantly being clean red d and sterilized and you lazy slobs still can't even lift your arm and throw trash in bag on your chair supplied and will toss it on the window, floor, stuff every nook and cranny with it putting the rest of us at risk. Don't even start me on bathrooms which were already left horrible before the pandemic. Especially you crews coming from out west fyi some of us have very young kids with compromised systems due to other illnesses. How about you start doing your part before demanding everyone do more for you....

Donations look good for media, crews can catch it or die and therefore reduce the headcount/payroll. It’s all good.
