So both Sears and Kmarts getting shut down at April 7th, is this true?

You read it wrong. Stores are closing until April 7. The governor in my state ordered all non-essential businesses to shut down temporarily thru April 11 and have employees work remote from home if possible.. Since Sears has been designated an essential business, they have flexibility to either stay open or close
I cannot see it lasting beyond that.
