AT&T Inc. T has decided to pay a 20% bonus above the regular hourly base rate to all of its union employees, as its networks are seeing increased demand amid the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The company’s share price rose 1.1% in yesterday’s trading session to close at $28.40.

Our Account Exec stated that offloading of Networks personnel has been too successful. As a result all former DXC personnel at AT&T are being brought back into DXC. They can kiss goodbye to their bonuses and pay rises. ROFLMAO.
I guess you can go to work for AT&T...
If you get furloughed use that time to learn more skills and look for a new job with a company that values your skills. If you get WFR'd use that time to learn more skills and look for a new job with a company that values your skills. If you have been frugal the past 2 years during the massive layoffs under Lawrie, you should have enough money saved to go 6 or more months without pay. If not and you're based in the US, you can borrow from your 401K without having to pay penalties and have three years to pay it back.
One of the the AT&T bods was laughing how joke of a company we are, they all got thier rises and bonuses again and we are going to get more redudancies. Has Mike Lawrie actually left or has nothing changed? The pay rises keep getting pushed down the line and redundancies up the list.
Clearly the strategy is Mike means Mike = Job loses, low morale, & keep telling them pay rises on the way.
Lawrie or Salvino = makes no difference, just good shares andpay for the management, keep hiring Accenture chums/execs on big pay.
The AT&T peeps all got bonues and pay rise again in March. Just shows how the guy sat next to you is valued by AT&T and when the same guys was working for CSC he never got a rise. Nothing to do with how well the company or employee is doing, more to do with how the company really values its employees.
Come on DXC stop screwing over your employees, if its that bad all the execs take a big pay cut like other companies.
Union Employees means the guys out fixing wires and such, not Network engineer's !
Well if Networks its so prfitable that there's bonuses and pay rises paid by AT&T every year and earns money then we need to bring it in house ASAP.
Let's just hope DXC doesn't subtract $1,200 from our pay like some companies are trying to do to their US employees.
In the quest for doing digital c-ap, we were stupid enough to pawn off all the network support / engineering / architecture business to AT & T and now they are reaping the benefits. Hopefully the new bosses understand this and try and do something different.
Its almost like DXC will never give a pay rise to non management staff.
Thats the wireline staff you muppet
20% in a corona and how much are we going to get another -3% like every year for doing more work. I wonder if the execs will not take the millions they normally siphon off.
It's almost like there's a benefit to being unionized.
