I believe the only way to save SEA is to remove the entire Board of Directors and fill the positions with persons who have no stock in the company.

The board should be made of industry leaders who can provide business intelligence as to the current status of our industry and future trends.

This group would be an advisory and overwatch function of our company with the sole mission of doing what's best for the parks and our company mission.

The current decision process by the board does not put SEA first, rather it places what's best for Hill Path Capital first; then the other investment firms. Our mission is far down the list of considerations during the decision making process.

"Just leave" does not address people that have spent their life here. It does not mean that suddenly jobs are hiring everywhere. I was working on my own exit plan before the virus hit and now that plan is delayed and I have no idea by how much.

I could quit tomorrow, but without another job lined up that is foolish and as id–tic as blind faith and brown nosing which is clearly what someone on this thread is doing. You cannot defend the actions of this company to the public and to the employees. They have had multiple chances to do right by us and the public but they always take the way out that saves them money.

Why don't I quit a leave this company after all they have done to ruin this company. I'll tell you why.

I'm a long time employee. An employee who has been here when the company was great...when the Busch family cared more about the parks than the profit...just don't loose money. We didn't, and the parks were in enmaculant condition. We took pride in ourselves, our equipment, and our parks. Our product sold itself. Our guests and team members were happy.

Today, we fight for sc-aps while to those at the very top feast. We fight for material's to maintain the park. We through money into repairing vehicles that should have been sc-apped.

I remember the days when our vehicle fleet was well maintained...instead they look and operate poorly.

And at the end of day, we were very proud that everything we did was to support the rescue and care of this planet's wildlife. What a wonderful legacy.

This has been my life's work...my purpose. It's where my children had thier first job and learned about work ethic and treating guests and coworkers with respect. Now I work to put food on the table, roof over my head, and apparently to fuel the corporate greed machine led by the Corporate Board Chairman.

I once was proud to say where I worked...now I avoid the very question.

One day I will wake up and say "no more, my fight is done". I then will quitely walk away from this place.

Till then, I will fight to improve our standing in the company, the conditions of our parks, and for the best care possible for the animal's entrusted to us.

Fight on Rebels...Fight on!

This not about bashing SEA. It's about a lack of business ethics; as evident by the company's senior executives actions since 2008.

I get we need cash flow...we got that with the sale of 277 million dollars in senior bonds.

The shady side of our business ethics is when you layoff 95% of the company, then give 6.8 million dollars in stock options to the senior executives. And when you charge for services not rendered. SEA is extending and upgrading passes. Ok, but why would I be satisfied with this option when I know the level of service and attraction/shows will be reduced significantly.

No...SEA made a calculated decision to keep a revenue stream flowing. Now, someone call BULLSH1T and instead of dealing with this person one-on-one, the corporate lawyers will have to defend or settle against a greater number of members.

Also, don't forget all the liens are adding up, because we're not paying for our contracted services...many of which are small businesses.

Nope...no bashing here; just facts in evidence.

Just thought, maybe if we pull the funding for the feeding and caring for our animal's PETA could flip the bill. Just a thought.

If you hate the company so much then just leave. Why work for a company that you don't respect because they've s#it on you and continue to do so. Not a brown noser but instead someone who isn't bias.
You can thumbs down my comments all you want.

I wonder how much 7 million could go with animal feed or paying those 5-10% essential employees?

Sorry the "But its their only income!" right now comment is sh– and only a brown noser would go that route. They abandoned most of their employees after sh–ting on us for years through bad decisions. They do not get a pass on this now.

Pass members payments are essentially the only incoming revenue. While not all employees are getting paid the animals still need to have food constantly purchased and those employees deemed essential still are getting paid. Maybe get off of the "hate SEAS" bandwagon and see that it's a necessity to have income right now.

Lol yeah how generous of the company to extend people’s pass benefits and refuse to give refunds. What’s not to love! I’m sure all the unemployed masses can’t wait to visit the parks just as soon as they reopen!

Hopefully it gets thrown out. SEAS is doing a lot for annual pass members. Extending everyone's pass by x amount of months closed and upgrading to the next tier.

From my understanding the are not only extending but upgrading then to the next level of pass. Seems like more than what others are doing.

Hope it gets class action status.

Disneyland initially charged pass holders (and communicated they would extend the expiration date of annual passes and not charge during those extended months). When they realized how long they would be closed, they changed strategies. Didn’t SW also say they were extending annual passes as well? I don’t know if SW communicated properly and if not, that’s on them but this is absurd.

They're not allowing the complete link. SW's being sued for continuing to charge guests for their season passes during our current situation. Estimates of a $5 million class action suit.
