Look I know times are rough right now and all of us are sitting home watching baseball reruns and panicking about the future of our jobs and this company and bookselling/publishing/writing as careers. But there is hope for all of us even if we have to go through some rough times. I have some faith in this company. Of course I'm a realist and know the high chance of disappointment. If that should happen, we'll all manage to bounce back in some form. Stay strong! At least now there's plenty of time to read! (I assume you read some kind of book if you work here but then again I have been spending my time rewatching Bob's Burgers so who am I to talk.)

I work at a very big store in NJ. It's a flagship store and it will re-open with a full staff. WE are two levels with Cafe and Music. We are strong and ready to serve the public the best service they are expecting. WE have a great crew. I went back as soon as they asked for volunteers from furlough to work and make sure everything was great. Been working there for years and it's a legendary store and crew.
Lots of stores won’t reopen.
That’s not propaganda spread by ex employees. It’s what I’m hearing from 2 employees in corporate!
"The miserable have no other medicine but only hope..."
There is no hope.
