Was laid off recently and it's sad to see so much talent and hard working people Go out the door. While keeping so many layers of upper management with high paying salaries who absolutely do nothing. And believe it people there are politics involved and buddy systems a plenty. Good luck everyone

Schlumberger is a f—ed up company run by greedy people.
In my experience this is how should work. First real workers get laid-off by first level managers and then the managers get laid-off by directors and so on. The upper management (VPs and above) don't like to do the dirty job with their own hand.
Agreed here 150%. Good luck with that SLB. Should have kept MFGPro and not let go all your talent. Also, good luck with your unproductive and lazy managers too.
