Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Closing Little Rock

Closing Little Rock Valves and Measurement. We had 24/7 workforce before Schlumberger bought us. Way to run another company out of business. 450 people ....think they might keep and transfer 50. F— Sclumberger.

This was a very good company , it's sad to see it leave great pay not like some companies in the area that " pay accordingly to other company's in the area" it was a real family orinanted type place once own by a single man and he stayed on the floor with the workers he would even get dirt under his finger nails, so bad and sad for the people that worked there guess it's a thing company's can face when take overs happen by the way l like the way they blame it on covid 19

Nothing happens in a vacuum, if Smith or Cameron were so great they wouldn't have sold off to Schlumberger. Smith and Cameron senior management made a fortune, the rest not so lucky.

Why do operators in the US dislike SLB?

Schlumberger is well known for buying thriving companies and then running them in the ground. The reason is that very few operators in the US like using SLB so the clients that you had before Schlumberger bought your company immediately jump ship on you once they see the Schlumberger logo, it’s the kiss of death.
