I've got to say- I'm sick of this Wubonic plague and I'm sick of Gulfstream.

Got mine. All I can say to gac is good riddance biotch. Only thing regrettable is I worked too hard. So much for that.
Just received the call ….. 35+ years. Asked a lot of questions, but they couldn't answer.
I haven't received the call yet. Not sure if I'll get it tomorrow or if the company is going to be that much more sh–ty.
Gulfstream has long lost its culture. They pay well, but they absolutely s— at creating and delivering a good work environment.
To all like myself that received the call. We are worth so much more than how we were treated at this company. You will find better employment, you will find something that makes you happy. The silver lining in all of this is that you have been freed from a severely toxic environment and now you are able to live a better life. I do not know most of you but I’m sending positive thoughts your way.
I just hate the way they process this lay-off. Just like a pig slaughter. We are not asking for a hug, but they say “Gulfstream Family” and one day you are treated like a terrorist, not being able to grab your stuff and being fired over the phone and managing to trigger WARN act.
The best we can do, is to recommend people to NOT work at gulfstream. Leave a review on Glassdoor... people check that before applying to some jobs at a company.
Even Boeing knows how to lay-off people better...!
I was there 17 years and got 17 weeks of severance
Record the call! It is legal in Georgia to do so, even without notifying them.
The call was first from manager and then had hr finish the ending. Good luck to all. LISTEN...it will all be ok. Don’t be too proud to adjust your lifestyle accordingly. Downsize...there is no shame.
Yes I got it too...mixed emotions, I wanted to work for GAC but through several years of service and multiple RIFS, chipping away at our benefits, and the BS the upper management spews out, I am releived to be able to move on. They talk about integrity...but can't even lay you off or fire you face to face...just through a phone call shows their brand of integrity. And to blame it on the Virus...does anyone beleive that this big a cut was warranted? GD I hope your paying attention no one left working for GAC believes in the upper management...some of them need a phone call! Customers beware your getting a used car sales pitch about a product that can' t have the quality they pitch when they loose workers with much experience only to rehire lower paid workers- you don't get what you payed for. Enjoy your big bonuses upper management great job!

severance depending on how long you've been there. 15 years gets you 17 weeks and you're accrued vacation, 46 hours. 4 weeks of COBRA at your regular rate.
Was the call from HR or the same manager that called before . Just curious and waiting for the call myself. I never gave them a phone number so maybe I’ll get an email
