In another money-rich experience-poor move by the new UX and Product leadership, the entire Research team has been removed from Pearson UX. Experience development will now be led by - best guesses. At the same time, the company's Design Language team was also disbanded (so, no unified visual language or style guide) along with cuts in the writing and onboarding teams. This is the largest layoff yet experienced by UX at Pearson. For whoever decides to stay at this soulless, gutted company, best of luck. A sobering experience indeed.
