They are still taking temperatures at the door. Yesterday I asked what my temperature was and the person taking it said “we aren’t allowed to tell you guys anymore” ..... Is that even legal? The temperature readings are not accurate. There were a few days that my temperature was “94”. You set up a system of false safety’s and get called out for the uselessness of it all and this is the response.. what is happening.

As long as you were allowed to enter, what is your complaint?
It's all window dressing. GAC knows it. We know it. Attendants know it. Maybe they can give us a nice pizza party or cookies and ice cream when done. Let's all sing some songs. Maybe a nice bit of hazard pay for the essential sacrificees. Top Men in action.
Per previous post, liken this to employer-mandated HIV testing and denial for employment. Plenty of EEOC cases. Don't look at HIPPA. You are in the wrong book of regs. ADA/EEOC. Seq.
FYI. You have the right to ANY medical information or diagnostic testing that ANY employer uses to make an employment decision about you.
Rather than going to HIPPA, many people overlooked the ADA. See, there other conditions that could cause an elevated body temperature but not impede functionality. Even certain medications raise body temp.
Temp testing falls under diagnostic testing / employment decisions. A person can have a fever but NOT have a communicable disease and thus employment action is actionable under law.
HIPPA is for disclosure of your medical information. However, ADA is where you need to look for regulatory pieces concerning forced accommodation for presumed health conditions, akind to assuming a person in a wheelchair needs certain things without asking them.
And then, cause for action would be an EEOC matter.

To the person who wrote "They do not release your temperature per HIPPA requirements." Are you from HR because that sounds like something HR would say. So they can't tell you YOUR temperature due to HIPAA? Do you have to fill out a form and sign it, giving them permission to give you information about your own health? I don't think that's how it works.

Don't tell anyone, but GAC doesn't really care about your safety or your health. Its all for show just like all the other protocols put in place for C19. Big announcement of the efforts to keep you safe one day, then GAC breaking their own self imposed procedures before the week is over.
