Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Does anyone know rules and regulations on forced overtime?

Seems like certain locations do what they want. Have bear minimum employees. This can be a potential safety issue. If one continues to work 16 hr. shifts and happens to fall asleep on their way home. Who is to blame?

You can’t spell in Spanish either. I think that makes you an id–t two times over. It’s spelled ese. Not essai. You misspell mi hijos also. It’s not mijos.

As long as it isnt an hours of service job you could work 16. Carmen in North Platte used to do it all the time.

Yes. Those at the bottom of the totem pole. Or as you say, on the front line.

wow, Mr. Fritz allows this? Hmm. Maybe that's why he's downsizing on management. To pay the ones on the frontline who make the shareholders money.

Where do you work? Give me a job! I'd love to have some hours since I've gotten furloughed.

It’s bare minimum and you have to look in your contract. If you fall asleep driving it’s on you.
