Stores have started reopening all around the country, it's just a matter of time before we are going to follow suit. So why have layoffs now? What's the point?

"Furlough" is the kind word they use to keep people optimistic. Realistically a lot of those jobs aren't coming back, at least not in the near future. It all comes down to the dollars with Corp America.
Any additional layoffs this week?
Even if reopen, who is coming to the stores? these jobs aren't coming back. i don't trust the new CEO. Why did art leave?
Unless this has nothing to do with the pandemic, as plenty of us already suspected.
