It sounds like the Covid-19 correction is set for June. Any information on numbers / departments?

Correct. Not only that, in our area it is causing short timers to put in for it because they don't want to be the poor SOBs left behind to do all the work and have to follow contractors around.
Also, there is already a problem as far as the guys who don't want to go, almost begging the guys who put in, to stay and be miserable with them using every tactic they can to get them to stay. However, this is a no-brainer for anyone close retirement and a must do for those over 62 because you know there will never be another sweet deal like this.
We were told they are going to approve everyone who wants out and if needed, will backfill from other depts, areas or use contractors.
All this is going to do is create more anger among the people that are not allowed to go or get refused
If nothing else, this has been an eye opener for local management. Out of a group of 17 guys in our area, 16 guys put in for the package and the one that didn't will have to be carried out on a stretcher, because he will die here.
Good stuff. Now, the SRO has a meeting with a director over the amount of interest in leaving. Told us. We make him look bad. We told him, it isn't you we hate, it's the place.
Only offered to people not on the performance plan and good score on 9 block right now. Poor performers and bad 9 block scores up next. Then involunatary.
Layoffs in Monroe last Friday. Other e.ails went out today asking for volunteers across Ophir and Fletchers organization.
Why can’t you announce what they said? If they announced it I don’t think it’s a big secret anymore
I can't get into specifics but I work in Minnesota and they just announced layoffs here
