Any former UP managers gotten pension buyout offers lately? I left about a year ago and haven't heard anything.

It depends on a lot of factors but the age you start drawing it is a big one. At 55 you get the least and it goes up each year that you wait until you hit 65 when it goes to 100%.

Awwww the poor souls are upset they don’t get a company pension too. Don’t worry. I hear section 8 housing isn’t bad if you keep your head down when the bullets are flying.

Yea. I got one.

But I was p-ss-d about it. Thought I was gonna get $5million but only ended up getting $2.5 million. Is that what you got as well?

If you’re eligible for the Harriman pension and are over 55 you can draw it.

Most likely that many of us could be bought out for pretty cheap at this point.

Curious myself, left a little over a year ago and nothing here either. I get the annual letter explaining the retirement benefit I will receive based off years vested.
