Layoffs and Early Retirements hit the Richmond Ave campus at the end of the week, just 2 weeks after they laid off contractors and some support staff, and 1 week after "strongly recommending" everyone go on voluntary furlough "for the good of the company" (WG was exempt from the original SLB furlough edict, for some reason). Bloodbath. They are wiping out a ton of experience.
Management originally said that WG Houston had a ton of work, so no personnel moves were needed at the time. They still have a ton of work, but fewer people to do it now. Alas.
