As for the people who didn’t get the call, does anyone know if that is all of the people they had on the list or are they going to start again Monday? I have heard from some that it’s done and then some that it’s going to continue on Monday with another big group. Also does anyone know the validity of the claims that there will be a furlough starting May 15 for everyone?

Colin Miller emails and said everyone getting let go from IEF has been informed. So that’s one group that’s done.
My manager went into hiding the day Mark Burns email went out. Did not see him for two days. Next time I talk with him he had HR with him and I was laid off effective Friday. When it ended, no “Good luck”, no “Hope to see you in two weeks”, no “Goodbye”. Coldest, nonemotional, reading from a script call I’ve had in my career.
All those hours I gave to GAC for the “Cause” and not my family. What a fool I was. I can never get that time back.

You need to worry if they tell you a specific time to be at work. But at least you'll be paid for the day and not work the rest of the day! F***ers!!!
Rumor is that they will be cutting some management on Monday. If you haven’t heard from someone higher up in your organization, I wouldn’t assume you’re safe. My manager let us know when it was done for our group.
I was just reading about the BILLIONS in profit for Gulfstream and General Dynamics. I then heard from a good friend and former colleague about the bloodbath. I was part of the Great '15 RIF at Gulfstream. I was sad for years over but now, *#&@ that company. How they can continue to make (profit) billions and layoff some really good and dedicated people is beyond me.
I have heard from someone in another department say their manager told them they were safe and everyone in that department left was good to go but then that manager got his own call and hour later so can we even take the word of that or is it just them trying not to cause any more panic? I don’t think the managers are even being told the correct thing.
Manager will tell you when you are not part of this RIF. Until you hear from your manager it ain’t over.
