What is with the mass exit of regional managers? Totally suspicious!

The schools get what they deserve. If follett folds and walks away from the contracts (let them sue, get big judgments and then TL leads follett into BK), the students should be questioning who's interest were being served by contracting out books/educational materials. It wasn't the student.
How many university administrations stood up to follett when they were busy beating older employees out of the business. Nothing but the sound of crickets.
Maybe FHEG will close up shop, give schools their notice and walk away. They have been chasing big contracts the past few years (NYU, VTU) and can't make money once they get them. The same thing happened with the NEEBO acquisition. How many of those 200 stores are still open? No due diligence was done, we did it how Kmart would things........poorly and without planning. The family shouldn't have recruited Sears rejects to run the company. The real losers here, besides the remaining employees, are the schools.
I'm reading experience, mid/upper level. Sounds like a brain drain. Perhaps, too, nice retirement packages. It's a good thing to get a plush package and still have some value in the market place.
Not surprising at all. Most of the people retiring are near the end of normal careers anyway. They realized that they would be doing more work for less pay, given the recent salary cuts which will probably never be restored. Why not exit now before the summer and avoid dealing with another horrific Rush?
Follett is like a dumpster fire. They saw that and made for the exit. Good for them.
All senior regionals with lots of tenure and likely higher salaries, I mean savings.
When a building implodes, do you stick around to figure out what it will look like after?
After PC retired nothing should surprise you.
What about GVP's and MVP's?
It's posted on the quad. Probably paid nice "retirement" packages to remove their salary expense.
Quad. 4-5 regionals have retired. 2 have found other jobs. It was like 6-7 regionals who are leaving.
What regions? Where did you find out this info?
