This is because of the “covid19 virus“ if you’re gullible enough to drink the koolaid they pass out. Truthfully it’s because they realized they can’t keep paying dividends to their hard working stockholders. No matter who was in the White House they were still going to layoff they can’t run a railroad like this and keep showing profits without cutting employees, equipment, properties/shops and whatever else they deem unnecessary. It’s a bull$hit cash grab/firesale to the finish of the PSR/Unified 2020 plan endgame they started back in 2018. The true nature of these PSR geniuses is going to show, someone said CSX has started to hire back after all their layoffs showing just how unnecessary and id–tic this Ponzi scheme is. Best of luck to those affected in this “short term” shutdown.

He’s been the best union leader in North Little Rock ! He’s made a deal with company that if we quit sleeping and start doing our job that we could still have our hot dog feeds and family day! Got to love our Mo.
And there are still so many there that they can’t find a place to sleep.
