Oh trust me, the PSR sh1tshow for NS is just beginning. Go over to the UP board if you want get a better idea of just how bad it really is. I was a former UP employee. It's going to get way worse. It's probably not what you want to hear, but I felt compelled to warn you.
Linwood is next big Axe on the list. No cause or concern for any employee or their family. Company doesn't care about the long term. Heads so far up own A–es they fighting for air and a dollar.
With all these ridiculous cuts and coronavirus going on they are still looking for 10 management positions right now on their website. They will not be cutting any of their own any time soon.
Ns is going to save the day with this new way you get your ppe in the mail.
I know at my location we all order everything that we can and still use the vending machines and store house.
I got my order in January and never touched a single item that was sent to me.

With all the layoffs and closures happening system wide, and the actual working person head count becoming lower and lower, what is happening to all the “supervisors”, and “managers” ? Its just a matter of time until these jobs will become obsolete, correct? What is happening to these people now? Are they being transferred or furloughed? Soon there will be no one to “supervise”.

Of course they are. Closed Roanoke shop and rdc and still haven't gotten to 60% OR. So at least one more shop probably 2 are gonna close. Bet if they got rid of Farrell and Squires salary we would be there.
