Being furloughed is better than being laid off.

Furloughs end June 12 for now, everyone in the company was told about it through a FAQ sent to all managers. Nothing is secret about it. Your manage should have emailed everyone in their group about it. They should have done a virtual meeting showing you the weeks or days you can choose from as the days you choose had to be turned into HR. But obviously it could go longer if the economy stays closed.

Expect it through June at the very least, and possibly into Q3.

The are not really furlough but voluntary unpaid leave. We were told this would be for 10 weeks and then reassessed

Pay reductions were effective April 12th due to the beginning of a pay period. Furloughs and Gap leaves have been instituted before and after the 12th. There is no end date for the pay reductions however the plan I heard was that as business improves, compensation will be raised accordingly. Expect furloughs for at least all of Q2.
