XDX / XIM Webster layoffs that occurred in April - can anyone confirm?

ebster, N.Y. (WHAM) — Xerox confirms the company is cutting jobs at locations across the U.S. and Canada. That includes employees at its Webster campus.

In a statement, Xerox says a number of its employees were informed Thursday that their positions would be eliminated.

According to the company, the positions are primarily part of Xerox's internal IT operations.

They include IT software engineers, system engineers, program managers and associated support as well as finance managers.

While the article is 2 years old, this happens often on search engines after 2020. Many times you can search for news headlines, click "news" in the search engine and an article with the same day and month but different year will still show as "two days ago" or however long. Happens on duckduckgo quite often.

Honest mistake by the original poster.
