His health is so poor he is likely holed up in Grand Rapids far away from the SE michigan covid hotbed.
With his health, he definitely would not be entering a Ford plant to shoot a 60 minutes video. He has all the comorbidities that lead to poor covid outcome. I expect a retirement to spend more time with family.

Since the show is only 60 minutes - Hackett wasn't allowed to talk. They figured he would go off into his silicon valley speak endlessly, and people would be wondering what he just said!
At least we were able to see that Bill was still vertical/coherent - he has been missing lately.
