How embarrassing must it be to Mattel’s audit team who screwed the company so badly that the SEC has to step in? If layoffs are happening, the over-bloated management team needs to go first - start with the VP’s of AUDIT!

Well it's been just over 1 year since the whistleblower letter. So is Mattel getting away with it after all? Typical, the 1% at the top never get punished, do they.
Mattel is going BK by year's end, they really should have taken the buyout offer last year.
I remember Enron. If life was fair, the executives at Mattel would've been paid their bonuses with Mattel STOCK instead of dollars.

Jojo had his contract extended because he can’t testify for the government if he’s an employee. They are paying him off as a way to silence him. This is a temporary situation until the SEC threatens Jojo with prison time - then he’ll sing like a bird.

There is no audit vp. Its laughable to suggest accountants are to blame for bad historical acquisitions and a $1B loss in annual sales from 2016. A good place to start is to google "The Learning Company".
