Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Despite assurances that we had money in reserve to weather this thing, and that we've got plenty of opportunities on the horizon, we once again see a WFR. On Friday, leadership announced internally that there are management changes within the organization, with getting back to a practice based approach vs. industry. All this means is that they got rid of a key PMO leader, the only one who really had the PMs back, and are putting the industry leads and PMO group under one particular individual. With her and her newly appointed stooge who shes been grooming to replace her predecessor, they're going to make everyones life a living hell more than they already do. I know other areas are being affected but given the fact that it is already nearly impossible to lead projects and teams in our current structure, its only going to continue to get worse for everyone. We truly are just a number and no matter how hard you work, what you do or how well you're liked, if you're handed a $#!T sandwich to work on, they're going to make sure you eat it on your way out.
