I’ve worked in corporate. Being behind with the bills is a standard move for them. Holds on to cash flow for other things , knowing publishers and other companies want space in the store, so they’ll wait for their money.
I guess the telephone operator that I called was incorrect about them never going out of business. Looks like that lady was full of it. Also the DM I talked to that said they are doing fine, yeah sure.
Having problems paying what they promised their employees. Not surprised they’re stiffing the publishers.
It’s a small percentage of their revenue, so it makes sense they’d cut/postpone it right now. They’re not ordering magazines either.
