Shut down Bartlesville and consolidate to Houston

It’s time to cut expenses and here is an easy one to eliminate. Operating and maintaining the Bartlesville campus and airport is more expensive than you think. Give our offices and share of airport and maintenance to Phillips.

In 1972 Phillips moved their plastics marketing group to Adams terminal in Pasadena, Texas. My dad was in that group and we moved to Houston. It was a great decision. Everyone was happy and enjoyed a better opportunity for education and jobs!

It looks like this is going to happen in three phases over the course of two years.

Bartlesville will not close, the employees can be paid less and their retention rates are higher than Houston. The thing that will change is shuttle will be shut down, or at least needs to be. It isn't worth flying to Boston to be in the office for only a few hours

I wish people would stop with this subject. It's never going to happen and even if it did, it would devastate so many organizations as well as those they support. The majority of people in Bartlesville have been established there for many years and even most of their life. They're not going to move away from their families!

Sadly, both of you will get your "shut down" wish, followed immediately by "consolidation" at your local liquor store.

Here’s an alternative: shut down Houston and consolidate to Bartlesville.
