Got the call this morning they laid me off along with 4 other machinists. Was told 5 electricians got laid off too. Was told business was slowing down. I don't plan on getting called back

Sorry that you guys got cut. This company is evil, we all know this.
They told us we were essential personnel, that we were heroes because we put our health on the line to keep food and medicine in the stores. Is this how they repay us, by throwing us away like yesterdays newspaper.
I to am sorry to hear that. Takes a real scumy type of person to lay someone off during a pandemic. I feel the same... probably no call back.. if the brass had a single hair on their a$$’s they would have held off until this eases up... but as we all know, they don’t
