HR is the bunch of Jokers

I worked for 3 large technology companies with a much higher market cap than SLB, before joining SLB, For the first time, I found so many dumb PhDs counting days just for their retirement. HR is a big joke. many of their spouses work in other areas of the company passing private information to each other. Legally, how this is possible I dont know.

Technical people transfer to HR if a job is available. HR people gets the transition to technology. Such a weird old school archaic culture.

Younger guys, stay away from this place. If you are getting laid off, take it as a blessing keeping a long view of your future career. This place s—s.

Imagine thinking that HR is making decisions on who is leaving the company. It comes straight from product line management and you're stupid if you think otherwise.

I left SLB 2 years ago and work in a different industry. Sorry to see you Gus suffering. But there is so much room for improvement in SLB from work culture and environment
