BMO quietly disbanded

It came up in a conversation today when an old PBX customer told us they called about buying a new PBX, they were told, sorry, we no longer sell them. We will be glad to sell you hosted voice. We ship the phones and you put them in yourself!
They (CTL) couldn't even tell them who their sales person was or if there even was one anymore.

Interestingly this sparked anconversation among us. There are NO MORE BMO techs anywhere around us. The ones that didn't get played off were converted to National, CO or CSTs and there are no more Business techs.

Even the old BMO guy who is in National now can't even remember the last PBX or Key System we sold and is not sure what they did with the customers. They quietly k–led this dept right under our noses and we never saw it.

PBX and Key systems are outdated. Have been for years.

You Must have been asleep? They have been culling the BMO department in central florida for the last 4 years or a little longer. they went after the whole damned BMO dept —they are all gone other than a few who maintain the 911 system and some critical circuits—hell for that matter when i started here they began phasing out the BMO guys one by one and never a back fill— they told you flat out over a year ago in one of the all hands calls that they were going to this exact model take the package and take your customers instant business as i see it the non compete would be moot as they don't do that anymore— As well the laid waste to the central office department , no pair gain techs no maintenance –farmed out to inferior contractors who are raping the company–lucky if they even replace filters let alone fans or anything else for that matter 2 CO techs for 6 CO's— yeah witnessing the death of a giant

There hasn't been a business sales person in Mid Atlantic for at least two years.
