Hey “Be Like Me”... 2 years in and moving up the Ladder?! Ha.... Let me guess, GL 22, maybe 23? Psh, give us your employment status and moral in another 5 - 10 years. Top analyst who was given annual bonuses, 5% raises, promotions, Bravos and Service Hero Award.... yes, I worked my tail off and felt the same way as you once upon a time, 1000% invested in the company loving my role. Maybe you will be fortunate to make it past 10 years with a smile on your face, completely happy and stress free, however, I urge you to keep an open mind because everyone of us posting who have been let go were once like you. We did not become lazy disengaged employees - we became disposable individuals in the constant “right sizing” efforts by the company; regardless of Brand or BU.

I disagree! UHG is a great, great company! I have been here just 2 yrs and I love it. I love and it shows in my work. I’ve survived many of layoffs in my area over the past 2yrs- but I’m still here! I’m still here climbing that ladder and loving it! Lots of perks, parking, bonuses, promotions, you name it - sky is the limit for me. You have to work hard, really hard but it’s doable.

I don’t believe that the Providers are aware that we are no longer going to let them know the claim is denied. It will sit there in limbo until the time to fix/file/ appeal has passed. What a shady way to treat the Doctors!

My husband hates this company and is going to push his company to drop UHC and go back to Blue Cross! We are cheaper but our quality is terrible.

Almost every person I come in contact with has something bad to say about UHC insurance.

Are any of you surprised by this?? I'm not. It's own employees would rate them the same way and they treat their employees just as poorly: they deny as many claims as possible, they discriminate against you, when you talk to a supervisor about issues nothing gets done... basically a worthless company who works for the corrupt 1%.
