What do you think is going to happen after this is done and Mattel realizes there are so many jobs that can be done remotely? Do you really think you'll be the one still doing it? I have a feeling outsourcing will not be limited to mostly manufacturing anymore.

They already laid off the audit team last year and hired Deloitte at twice the price.
Why does Mattel need so many VP’s? If Layoffs are to happen, they need to let the VP’s go first, or at least slash their huge salaries. Especially the audit team who really screwed the pooch last year.

MOA is essential. It's the ES Design team that's obviously redundant.

The clueless executive team believes every company that comes in pitching an idea to outsource. They never second guess the pretty and colorful presentations, they just buy the pitch hook, line and sinker. What, you say you can do it cheaper? Where do I sign? No need to verify, as long as we can pretend to save money the CEO will get off our backs and we can look like heroes. I don’t care if the outsourced employees can’t speak English, whatever. I don’t even care if you can do the work. I just need to keep my job until this CEO is fired. They will outsource every department even though it makes no sense.
Certainly some jobs could be outsourced, while some can't be so easily.
