It is absolutely phenomenal what Ford, Walmart, and so many other companies are doing for our nation. Now we have State Farm. A multi billion dollar company who provides a service and doesn't step up to the plate. Ford is making respirators to save life. Come on SF! This nation is about us. It's not about ME and my numbers. A good time to prove you are the good neighbor! Step up to the plate!

LOL-there is no employer liability for infectious disease. I would explain it but you would not understand it-a little advanced for you.
Bout time SF recognizes its employee. Remember tho. They are doing it only to avoid liability.
This site has turned into a complete dumpster fire. And the OP should just quit. What an ungrateful human.
State Farm’s leadership and Tipords in general throughout this unprecedented situation has been nothing short of phenomenal. I’ve watched senior leadership cut through red tape and make about every employee first decision possible while still keeping the lights on for our paying customers who still expect us to be there for them. The communication has been above first rate.
The OP and other ranters on this site have crossed a line. You must be some of the most ungrateful people alive.
Met a SF adjuster on a claim yesterday, business as usual. Only difference, no shaking hands!!!
I'd say State farm management, much maligned on these threads, has really stepped up to the plate and has really done some surprising things for all employees.
mike gets a thumbs up on this one!
GM had a great idea. Cut executive pay and worker pay by 20%! That would be excellent to reduce my premiums by 20%
Troll. Go back under your bridge.....
According to 33 state Attorneys General, Walmart is stepping up to the plate by price gouging during the crisis. Is that the kind of amazing effort you’re asking for?
How about making some realistic suggestions instead of just ranting. State Farm is not a manufacturing operation. It’s finding ways to keep it’s people working. Agents are still keeping staff but not writing much business to pay them with. They’re working on some billing options (and under 50 different sets of state regulations, there is no easy one size fits all solution). And they’re still paying a whole lot of those claims that you say aren’t happening. With people staying home and using all that hoarded toilet paper, fill up and backup claims are really accelerating. (That’s not a joke)
State Farm cares less about anyone but themselves.
A mutual company owned by its customers, take from the customers to line their pockets during a pandemic? Now that sounds like the best socialist idea I've heard yet!
Give to the people who already have a job instead of the customer while mgmt is already overpaid? Now that's a great "good neighbor all about me selfish idea!"
We are doing something. Many underwriting requirements are being waved to ensure coverage for our clients.
How about reduce my insurance premiums or waive a premium for a month? Think outside the box SF.....people are not driving as much so they will have less claims...
If SF is able to keep its people doing what they need to do while managing the major disruption of its operations, keeping everyone employed and serving the customers, it is helping society right now. We don't have an assembly line to start making ventilators or masks, lol.
If they do by chance want to open up that fat purse to do something more, I will say I do like how Citigroup and Facebook are giving their employees each $1000 ;)
Geeze.
