Thread regarding Belk layoffs

as a store manager I feel It is a strong possibility that Belk will not be able to survive after this Coronavirus pandemic, stores were laying off before this, budgets slashed, perks slashed, stores in disarray, now sales are down exponentially and as soon as stores reopen Every manager I talk to is expecting massive layoffs, store closures, salary cuts, you name it. It will be a total disaster, unless the governemnt bails out Belk, which is highly unlikely. We just have to take it day by day and hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
