Hazard Pay

We as technicians should be getting hazard pay. No hand sanitizer, no antibacterial wipes, gloves or masks. Told to work inside homes and businesses of possibly infected customers. The government has declared the coronavirus a national pandemic and CTL has already acknowledged it by having some employees work from home and are promoting social distancing.

Had a tech come back from an International vacation, CTL management never questioned or recommended the tech self quarantine. Now the tech is sick, tested negative for the flu, tests are not back for C19. Worked two days in close proximity. Been spending this weekend as far from my family as possible. It’s EOM management wants all hands on deck to push orders for revenue. You know where the workers stand with the company.

AT&T giving frontline employees 20% raise for Hazard Pay. Time for CTL and our union to do something for us!

Is anyone being authorized to take off any of the 80 hour emergency PTO in any areas? I know of several persons who have tried to take it and they have been denied. It looks like this was jist a smoke and mirrors gesture, that nobody is actually being approved.

Also, has anyone seen any of the extra office cleanings they are supposedly doing? The building here in New Century hasn't been cleaned since they stopped paying the rent months ago.

Check your local state shut down orders. Some states are mandating that if a worker gets sick on the job from this virus, their workman's comp through their employer with be paying wages and medical bills.

Hazard pay? Those A-Holes won’t even give us on call standby pay. Hand sanitizer I believe just barely came in. Have your boss order it from that SAP of c-ap system.
