Plants during the corona

Are the plants located in shutdown states still working? Considered essential? If they are shutdown are the workers being paid?

From what I have been told, since NOV is in the "Energy Sector", it falls into the category of essential business. For example, California has shut down, but the Orange facility is still open. Outside of the US, it probably depends on local governmental direction and laws as to what is going on and if people are getting paid.
