With the current crisis, it’s not hard to forecast Jeff’s next move. He’s going to use this crisis as a way to further reduce union technician and related management presence With limited exposure to scrutiny by blaming it on the crisis. It’s a rare opportunity to remove the individuals that he lost the respect of long ago through his ongoing pattern of irresponsible reductions, cutbacks, and decisions. It’s time for the employees, union and management to demand new leadership with a vision of growth and prosperity. Jeff is determined to gamble the future of this company on his visionless effort to shrink the company to a small niche position and once the union is gone, rescale the company with low quality/ low cost contract labor. Investors beware or be sorry.

Dude...that's exactly what he's doing! Making conditions so untenable for employees. I believe he's in the at risk group. Your move.
"You guys are totally missing it. This is the opportunity he has been waiting for. Now, he can shut down the consumer side and concentrate on his precious fiber. Wait and see if he doesn't turn the coronavirus situation into an excuse to the FCC to walk away from the consumer side."
If he stonewalls supporting the network over this he will never get anything through the FCC again, if he doesn't get safety into play for the 20 percent he says has to expose themselves and then turns around and lays them off or fires them the Media and Representatives and Senators will crucify him.
You don't want to be that guy they make an example of when the smoke starts to clear.

All it is going to take is a Tech to get this and pass due to their demands and lack of protective equipment and a directive to serve our customers to put a whole different light on us through the media.
Imagine a Headline
CenturyLink sending Technicians on s–c-de missions with protective gear.
Considering it takes 90 days to remove union techs and the current situation requires even more demand for bandwidth to homes, I doubt you see more tech surpluses,( It would look very bad in the media) he could however very easily cut management.
