Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

One SVP has bit the dust

It appears JS realized just how bad engineering under BW really was. You can't run an ILEC as if it is a CLEC. Now time to get the engineers back in the field and stop this fractured setup. I think this is a great move.

If it's BW that I know, he started as a temp, and brown nosed his way up. Didn't figure he would last long.

The real issue with TTU is the insane architecture. Who came up with this c-ap. Whoever it is needs to come outside and face the customer when we say it doesn't work. Total garbage. Hopefully now that operations is running engineering BB will clean house and get the right people in place.

When they couldn’t lie and spin anymore because of running into real TTU requirements the writing was on the wall. One of the yes men needs to pass along to JS how long it actually takes to build things that work. The old 30 day story didn’t work out so well.

Broadband engineering... Can't hide your glut under the guise of capex for much longer! They cut everyone else to the bone, and now it's your turn. Beware the hatchet men selling automation.
