Shouldn't us working through this pandemic get payed hazard pay? Or at least my supervisor be around as well ive seen him 1 time since last week, I mean if I'm exposed to this virus and my family, shouldn't I get something in exchange besides this miserable check

Im personally disturbed by the way this goofy company does things. Never mind numbers. They are so safety paranoid, that they actually compromise safety by insisting on having a group meeting. I am not real happy about NOV compromising my own health and safety for their own safety numbers. Think about it, you don’t have to be sick to get people sick. 6 feet away doesn’t matter when someone is asymptomatic and you cross paths. Never mind the id–ts who tell you don’t walk thru here, its a pressure test.. while these complete id–ts are sitting at a pic-nic table on their phones. Damn craziest place I've ever been

There are people at facilities who can work from home, but the NOV Brass won't make the decision to formally allow them too. These id–ts are going to end up with confirmed cases at locations. OSHA considers these recordables with the Coronavirus, they truly have their heads stuck up yonder

We are required to space out our cubes/stay in our offices, be over 6ft apart, and we can’t eat in the cafeteria. The majority of us can work from home, and should. What are we doing here???

The reply from guy in Aberdeen saying split shifts ongoing listen and learn from inside information not from you but in the states there was a memo not long ago from top man stating keep your heads up & so on remember we as a hole are all numbers and when the calls made your going to get your notice like the rest believe me there is no loyalty no matter where you are either onshore or offshore

Stop making uneducated assumptions regarding aberdeen... Its business as usual in the granite city. Guidelines are being implemented and our order book is full with shopfloor staff working to existing deadlines and the overtime is as was before... People making this c-ap up are obviously scare mongering when there is no need or call for it...

I can do literally 100% of my tasks remotely from home. Why do I have to go to the office? Like, what is the point of filling up the tower? What is wrong with the management?

Not sure where you get the idea that Aberdeen is short of work. Shift work has been implemented to meet social distancing guidelines. Those at home are expected to work (using company equipment) and are still being paid. All of this is in line with government guidelines.
