RLS to JLS transfer

First of all, yesterday RLS was told the news all RR workers have been fearing for a year now and that is a dark place to be in and myself and many brothers and sisters pray for the best for all of those affected by this, not only those who were still working, but those who are on furlough, hoping one day they would get a call back. If NS does offer a transfer and the 24 working electricians accept the offer, are they then behind the 150+ electricians already furloughed at JLS? Are they dovetailed and those 24 at the end are then furloughed? NS has proven they are terrible actors and operate in bad faith when negotiating with employees and operate in any community they perform work in and they should be treated as such.

I know it's common to be aggressive and ridicule those who you feel are questioning your importance and senority . It was an honest inquiry. I combed through the agreement and there was no text which specified the dovetailing of a roster, to which I came here seeking knowledge. Calm your old high and mighty boomer self down. Nobody is stealing your precious Gollum.

Be disgruntled all you want as you’re ignorant to the contract. You think this would be the first time they’ve dovetailed a roster? Complain to the union. Been that way for a while. Don’t like it, find another employer.

Yes. JLS workers are nothing more than puppy kicking a–holes, and the winters are 10 months long.

I wouldn't worry to much about the Dovetailing much. Who in their right mind wants to move to Altoona let alone PA?

Dovetailed rosters. Let the infighting begin. Yet another way to deplete the will of the people. Soon you will wish for the days of a union free workplace. You think RLS workers care about the success of JBS? This will be interesting to see how it plays out. lesser seniority working with local workers with more seniority on the street. You talk about a disenfranchised worker!

They just say they will be offered jobs to make themselves look better to the public. Or make it makes them feel better about themselves. NS don't want any of them to transfer. If they do they will probably lay them off again.

Being a closure, it would be different than your normal furlough. In the past they have dovetailed but this is something your union should know but at this point in time I doubt they even care
